Wine Tastings - free of charge

We hold regular free wine tastings at our premises. These tastings are very informal and relaxed, there is no presentation - you can turn up any time during the tasting and stay for as long or little as you like. We normally taste at least six wines and there are nibbles to enjoy as well. No booking is required but it is helpful to let us know you intend to come along. If you receive our newsletters you will get details of the wines to be tasted a few days before the event; to subscribe click here. Tastings dates are:

  • Thursday 31 January 5.30pm to 7.30pm - 6 wines & nibbles

Masterclasses - £40 to £60 per person

We offer Masterclasses for small groups of people who are interested in furthering their knowledge of wine and spirits. These courses normally run for 90 minutes on a weekday evening and usually focus on a region, wine type or producer - prices include tuition, wines and cheese, paté & biscuits. You will be seated at our tasting tables while a wine educator presents to the class. Booking is required. If you can make up your own group of 8 or more people we will design a Masterclass to your specification. Below are some examples of popular subjects:

Champagne Masterclass 1 - introduction to champagne - 5 champagnes

Champagne Masterclass 2 - discovery of different house styles from 6 famous producers

Gin Masterclass - a history of gin, 4 different gins, Martini and French 75 cocktails
